The Red Stripe Music Award

As Red Stripe turned up the volume on its music ambitions, I developed the identity and campaign for The Red Stripe Music Award – a nationwide talent search featuring more than 200 bands and a high-energy London final.

With festival slots and a fully branded tour van up for grabs, the competition had real credibility. The visual identity ran across venues, promotional materials and branded assets, giving Red Stripe a confident and authentic presence in the music scene.

Limited Edition Les Paul Promotion

As part of Red Stripe’s move into music-led brand activity, I created an in-store promotion offering customers the chance to win one of six limited-edition Epiphone Les Paul guitars, featuring a bespoke Red Stripe design.

The campaign ran across promotional cards, branded plectrums, in-store POS and online, creating a distinctive activation that connected the brand directly with music culture.

‘Bring It On Back’ - Shunt Vaults Live Gig Series

Following the success of Red Stripe’s wider music activity, Bring It On Back was a series of free gigs at London’s Shunt Vaults, showcasing emerging rock and indie talent alongside established bands including The Rifles.

I developed the creative direction and visual identity for the series, extending Red Stripe’s distinctive music-led look across the live experience and promotional materials while giving the gigs an identity of their own.

The Rumble Strips - NME Tour Feature

Following their headline slot at the first Red Stripe Music Awards, we collaborated with The Rumble Strips on a UK tour promotion.

Shot at The Arches, London Bridge, I art directed the photography and developed the creative for a double-page NME feature, combining the raw character of the location with layered graphics and subtle Red Stripe branding.

Selling the Sound of Red Stripe

To showcase Red Stripe’s music platform to the trade, I created a series of sales presenters styled as 7" and 12" vinyl sleeves with inserts.

Rather than a conventional sales deck, the format borrowed directly from record culture, complete with printed ‘vinyl’ discs, creating a tactile and distinctive way to bring Red Stripe’s music credentials to life.

Red Stripe at the Notting Hill Carnival

As an official sponsor of Notting Hill Carnival, Red Stripe needed a bold visual presence that felt at home in the energy of the event.

I created a series of festival posters alongside a one-off graffiti artwork, taking a rawer, more expressive approach inspired by the street energy, music and sound-system culture of Carnival.
